Artist Bio:
Ivan Flores (he/they) has a Pisces sun, Aries moon, and Leo ascendant, and is self-described as a ‘Spisces.’ They are an award-winning textiles artist exploring
identity and emotions tied to their personal experiences and how they navigate the world as a queer, Afro-Latino, second-gen immigrant based in Kjipuktuk, or otherwise known as Halifax, Nova Scotia. Ivan loves weaving, being silly and teaching others how to weave and be silly.
