Artist Bio:
Arjun Lal is an artist researching and exploring post-colonial queer culture through sculpture and performance. After graduating with a BFA from NSCAD University, they presented their first solo exhibition Fruits of the Forest at Khyber Centre for the Arts in 2021 followed by Leather Bar in Bangalore at the Eltuek Arts Centre in 2023. Their current body of work "To be a flamingo" has been manifesting new sensory experiences where human-flamingo hybrids exist with an abundance of shrimps to devour.
